Air Supply: 1Bit Run
A downloadable Wooly Jumper for macOS
This is a port of my original iPhone game from 2011 - presented on Mac for the first time, warts 'n' all! Hope you enjoy it! :)
Mac Keyboard controls:
SPACE - Jump/Double Jump
SHIFT - Shoot!
Your AIR is running out!
Ambushed on a standard trade jump between Lave and Diso, Spaceman Sam is shot down by space pirates!
Oh no!
Now, stranded on an alien Moon, Sam must run for his life, avoiding meteorites, fearsome UFOs and enemies such as robots, aliens, and Space Monkey Zombie Pirate Cyborgs(!), hoping in vain to stay alive long enough to be rescued!
Original iPhone game Reviews:
Pocketgamer.co.uk says: “It’s fast, familiar, and fun, giving you everything you want in an endless runner… Air Supply has enough charm and good content to make stand with the best endless running games”
arcadelife.co.uk says: “Air Supply gets it SO right it’s frightening! […] It’s your new favourite running game – you just don’t know it yet.”
Killscreen says: “This is a just game. You can jam on it.”
How awesome is that? Thank you! 😀

Notes:
This game has been tested on Sierra and Catalina OS versions. There may be issues getting it to run on Big Sur, but there are some simple solutions if you google them.
The game starts in a tiny window on your Mac due to the game originally being made for the first iPhone!, You can select 'Fullscreen' from the game finder bar (top left corner of your screen) for a, er, 'fuller' experience!
Also, the interface is built with touch input in mind, so you'll need to click on buttons on-screen to use menus and stuff! Sorry!

Thanks for sharing this QS! Unfortunately I can't launch it - Finder says, "You do not have permission to open the application". Terminal says, "Operation not permitted". It does not show up in the usual Sys Prefs Gatekeeper "allow it anyway" list either. Any ideas?
Hi there, so sorry about this - it appears to be a problem with Big Sur. I googled "You do not have permission to open the application" and saw others with the same issue for other apps, and found a few (easy!) suggestions on how to fix it.
Again, sorry about this, but I've stuck to Catalina and tested it on that and an even older OS and it works fine, so I think Big Sur might be the issue.
I assume this will be the same for all my Mac games, so if you find a working solution please do let me know and I'll gladly add it to the description so others can fix bypass this too!
Many thanks!

Ah, I see! Thank you very much for looking into it. Apple make you jump through so many hoops these days, I swear it’s easier to get 30+ year old Spectrum tapes to load first time! Speaking of which, I’m away to give Last Train to Tranz Central another blast. Thanks again for sharing your work. Cheers!
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will put a warning at the end of each game's description so that others are aware! I certainly wasn't! I've tested on Sierra and Catalina but I'm loathe to 'upgrade' to Big Sur because things do end up being broken for a while :O
I hope you can get the game working, and if you do, I'd appreciate a link to what worked for you! In the meantime, yes, it's a LOT easier to get Speccy games working! Thanks for giving Last Train a go! :D

PC version possible? Don't have a MAC.
Hiya, thanks for your interest. I'm going to flat out say 'No PC version' - not because I don't want to, but because the software used to make the game 10 years ago doesn't export to that.
Sorry :(
